Multisensory Leadership

Amid much debate about whether synesthesia can be learned, by looking at the challenge in a synesthetic way, Nusa has succeeded in developing Multisensory intelligence in non-synesthetes. Multisensory Leadership recognizes and integrates current knowledge along with subtle factors, such as subconscious patterns, interactive dynamics, emotions, and other often invisible information. Nusa has facilitated critical moments in the lives of organizations, bringing clarity, perspective, and understanding to times of confusion, conflict, complexity, or overwhelm. She supports others to develop strategic context, and lay the ground for clear, insightful, and aligned paths forward. For example, Nusa helped bring understanding to NASA after the Challenger crash, facilitated community dialogue, trauma resolution, and mapped rebuilding possibilities after 9/11 and Katrina. She has also supported generating strategic solutions with the Parliament of World Religions, World Bank, corporations, NGOs, non-profits, entrepreneurs, educators, families and individual leaders.

Synesthesia.  The involuntary convergence of sense perception in which an outer sense is accompanied by additional corresponding inner sensory information. Such as, “I see you move, and hear the inner sound.”

Multisensory Intelligence.  The reconnection to dormant synesthetic ability. This is a source of intelligence that can be developed and strengthened. Thereby accessing, using, and building on ones inherently broad bandwidth of human capacity.

Multisensory Leadership.  A way of drawing on the concert of information and expanded perspectives of multisensory intelligence to lead in a centered way, with deep understanding and engagement.
